Mimel is a mysterious young woman who was saved from being banished to the frigid hell of Findeste by the forces of light, who recognized Mimel's overwhelming magical powers and her ability to wield the Power of Liberation. In order to save Sieghart, she pushed her magical abilities to a dangerous extreme and almost died as a result. Unfortunately, while bringing him back from the brink of death, she mistakenly transferred her Power of Liberation to him, altering the course of history as well as their individual fates.
When created, Mimelia had no emotions. Even after Deeth gave Mimelia her two personalities, Mimel and Mila, she was still unable to feel anything. After loosing her memory, she started to feel the world for the first time, much like a child, and indeed developed a purely childish personality and always addresses herself in third person. After Sieghart sacrifices himself she recovers her memories and adopts the personality of Mimel.
For much of the first generation, Mimel constantly mispronounces the first part of Sieghart's name wrong, using Zeeg, which annoyed him but he allowed her to use it due to her malproper tendencies. At the end of the First Generation she calls him Sieg like the rest of the party for the first time.
