I have a few things that might fit in to this page It might need to be slightly renamed first though. Or maybe get some of this stuff split into other pages.

What carries over on a new game+?

If I understand correctly the following applies: Same or easier difficulty: Every item except your characters levels. (Need to confirm how titles carry over)

Harder difficulty: Unused Gold, TP, EP, PP, Books for crafting aswell as active skills (+100 ATK items for example) (Need to confirm if stuff like HP up stays)

According to the JP wiki, you keep: Cash, your Compendium entries, Unused TP or PP, Formations, any stat-based enhancements, CGs, Profiles, crafting books.

How is speed calculated?

Unaddressed...

Prayer

Earning extra XP sounds useful but how much use does it actually have? Who is affected by the spell?

Gospel

Extra EP. But how does the benefit work? Need some extensive testing.

Strengthening

The strengthening counts each individual time you stengthen, so if you go straight from 1 to 5 you only get 1 added to your total but if you do each level seperately you get 4, makes it alot cheaper.

Stats + spells

Casting the spells that increase abilites like STR+. How much do they increas the actual stats and can it be seen on the character page in combat? Strengthening and the Energy ability does fit well under this Trick category tho.FX9 20:52, May 19, 2010 (UTC)

Is strengthening the same as Enhancing items in the US versions? Is this a tip for getting the titles that require "x number of enhancements?" If so, that's a good tip I didn't know and should be added.

About strengthening: Yes, I assume it is. It's when you upgrade your weapons/armor/accessories, making them stronger. And indeed it is to get the x number of enhancements titels. Personally I've been playing the game without powering a lot of items I just make sure to do every strengthening/enhancing in single steps instead of all the way.FX9 13:26, May 20, 2010 (UTC)

Cheap Trick

Something to add to trick page after a bit of refinement. I'm currently testing a trick with a turbo controller with the A button held down, the party parked at Kaivot Trail and fight set to auto. Some observations Auto is pretty dumb and will not use resurrect, auto will often use attacks that heal the enemy and auto will try to capture enemies at any level of health. After removing the offending skills things seem to run smoothly. Still face the occasional death with characters 200+ and the enemies are only around 80+ this is over sessions of 8 hours or more. The benefits besides easy levelling have been a generous amount of EP and even TP gained. The only problem I see may be if True End does not allow unlimited turns. Anyone have any information on how high turn count can go?

Xanadril 13:00, August 10, 2010 (UTC)

I think its something like 1000 (200 for each gen).Alice in game 15:39, August 10, 2010 (UTC)

Forgot to mention that true end started for me with a total of rounds from all generations was around 360 turns. I started this trick around turn 425 level 120 highest character. Currently on turn 3032 with 87 million Gold, 13 million EP and 37k TP. Highest level 394 with HP capped at 199998 with HP+ equipped. The points from levelling can be spent at any time through the use PP menu. I'll update when I near turn 9999. Xanadril 02:59, August 12, 2010 (UTC)

Leveling up in European version?[]

Just wondering if the 500 turn True Route limit applies to the EU version as well? I'm at turn 40 and even the middle sections of Cave of Origin are killing me (playing hard mode), need to level up, but I'm worried that will use too many turns.

The quest information is a bit misleading, it's not the entrance, but every combat, that takes a turn. Coax75ohm 02:40, December 11, 2010 (UTC)
